Hi, I’m trying to figure out if Steven works within an international group. e.g. my girlfriend is hosting a bachelorette party for her friend who lives in a different country. The attendees have various nationalities but I can’t figure out if the app works in such a context or not? Or do non-integrated payments/transfers only work for groups with the same nationality? If no, I think it would be helpful if it was mentioned on your website since it’s a dealbreaker for some groups! Great app btw!

Hi Seb!
You can absolutely share a group internationally and add expenses in any currency you want. The app will display everything in the home currency for each user.

What you can NOT do is settle up inside of the app. Currently we only offer having a debit account in the app, and settling up with third party vendors like Swish for Swedish users. So for everyone else, you can mark what’s owed as settled outside of the app, and just transfer money via Paypal or how you would normally do it.
